The Manor House is
the original nineteenth-century family home. Our public rooms,
such as the elegant drawing room and library, are furnished with
antiques from five generations and have views over the gardens.
Rooms in the Bourchier and Leacock Wings, which adjoin the
Manor House, have stylish, country decor; many of these rooms
have fireplaces. The most luxurious is the Governor Simcoe
Suite, which has two guest rooms, whirlpool baths and living
room. Also housed in the Inn are the solarium pool, whirlpool
and sauna. An outdoor pool is adjacent.
Cottages along our private lakeshore and in the woods
bordering the golf course range from one to ten bedrooms in
size; there are common living rooms with fireplaces and
kitchenettes. Mayfair, with ten bedrooms and a living
room/meeting area, is ideal for small group retreats. This
country club area is the location of another outdoor pool, the
Summer Dining Room, Verandah Bar and recreation centre.

You may dine in the relaxed but polished atmosphere of the
Garden Court, Coach House or Manor dining rooms which are
decorated with fresh flowers from our gardens. Our menus change
frequently to take advantage of the bounty of fresh produce from
our vegetable gardens and the St. Lawrence Market. Perfectly
prepared roast beef with Yorkshire pudding is one of our
hallmarks. On Saturday evenings, our dining room hosts a
dinner-dance that has become a tradition for generations of
guests.
During July and August, the Summer Dining Room (the original
1920s golf Club House with the minstrel's galleries) also serves
lighter fare at lunch and dinner. Drinkwaters' Lounge is a
popular spot for a pre-dinner aperitif.
