Words from the innkeeper

Beautifully situated at the heart of one of Ontario’s loveliest rural areas, the Waring House has stood sentinel at Waring’s Corners since about 1860. Today, the inn offers the discriminating traveler an opportunity to taste the hospitality and charm of an elegant Ontario home of that bygone era. Meticulously restored and renovated, the inn offers charming antique-appointed decor in 17 guest rooms. An additional 32 rooms will be completed in 2008. Amelia’s Garden dining room and the congenial Barley Room serve exceptional regional cuisine. An on-site Cookery School, Wine School, elegant Banquet/Conference Hall and lovely park-like setting make The Waring House an all-season destination. Spa facilities are available at the nearby affiliated Claramount Inn & Spa.
