The Waterloo Hotel has been a main street landmark since it first served travellers in 1890. This classic Ontario hotel was completely restored in the 1990s to reflect its heritage status and to provide elegant accommodation to business travellers and meeting groups. In the 14 guest rooms, original Victorian elements, from high ceilings to pine floors, have been enhanced with faux paint finishes, carved walnut beds and feather duvets. Contemporary features added for modern business include wireless internet, air-conditioning, a fine dining restaurant, and a European style cafe for breakfast.
Meeting facilities include casual meeting spaces suitable for board meetings of up to 10 people. Business guests appreciate a location that puts them a walk or short drive from two universities and the head offices of many financial and technology companies. After hours time may be spent savouring nearby fine dining, exploring the surrounding countryside or enjoying spa treatments at a facility that partners with the Waterloo Hotel to offer guests spa packages.
