In addition to sitting areas within the guest rooms, the inn has a relaxing piano lounge overlooking the falls. Here, guests read, listen to live piano music on weekends, and enjoy service from the gleaming, hand-crafted cherrywood bar.

Dining
Guests dine in the 60-seat Penstock Dining Room, where much attention and effort is focused on meeting and surpassing dining expectations. The Wakefield Mill Inn has already earned a wide reputation in the Ottawa area for excellent cuisine. Our premier dining room is embraced by one-metre-thick stone walls and warmed by a large, open-hearth fireplace. Wakefield Mill dining emphasize fine French and Quebecois cuisine, flavoured with international nuances. The wine selection focuses on hard-to-find fine wines from smaller vineyards in France and other countries. Desserts include traditional treats as well as new approaches to mouth watering sweets. The culinary team is particularly proud of a varied and particular selection of cheeses.
